10 Things To Do With Your Sister Before You're 35

Whether you have a blood sister or a sister from another mister, there is that someone that you have a deep connection with. If it’s your blood related sister, then I’m sorry. You probably didn’t actually like each other until one left home or went to college. Hopefully now you are tight, and like my mom always said, “You don’t have to like your sister, but you have to love her.” So true mom, so true. Sisters are forced best friends. So here are some sweet things to put on your sisterly bucket list!

1. Get tattoos together

Make it original, or cliché… just do you. You’re stuck with one another and the tattoo either way.

2. Travel or vacation together

Whether it is just a short road trip to the beach, a camping trip, or a wild trip to Vegas do it!!! It will be crazy no matter what.

3.Comfort each other

Through breakups, pain, and just when mom and dad are being jerks

4.Lie for each other

Whether it is for a tattoo, boy, or a small “get together” you got each other’s backs.

5.Hang out with each other’s friends

My friends are yours, and yours are mine!

6.Go to concerts together

Whether it’s a small band, or major artist tailgate, dance, sing, and of course act a fool with your sister.

7. “Borrow” each others clothes

We all know that you probably have already done this. It also isn’t borrowing if 1) they don’t know about it and 2) you never give it back

8. Tell each other secrets

They are your confidant and tell you exactly what needs to be said, no matter how true or harsh… and you’re stuck with them so just listen!

9. Complain about people together

Whether it is your other friends, boyfriends, or parents. Especially parents, we all know that you probably do this at least once a week.

10. Love each other well

Tell each other how it is. Hang out. Adventure. Sisters are good for all these things. They are always there and they know you better than anyone else.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
