You've done it! You've written 10 page essays, completed never-ending projects, and finished your finals.
So, what now? How will you make good use of your winter break?
1. Read A Book Off Your List
You always complain about not having enough time to read during the school year. Well, now is the perfect time to get a start on those books you've been eyeing! Snuggled up in a blanket, sit on your favorite couch next to the window, and explore other worlds while it blizzards outside.
2. Bake Something New
Whether you are by yourself, with your mom, or with friends, baking is a great activity to have fun with and to improve a skill. If you're feeling extra creative, you can throw out your baking book and invent your own treat! Or if you'd rather go by the book, you can never go wrong with the classic chocolate chip cookie.
3. Explore A Local Town Or City
Now's the time to take a walk on that quaint street down the road. Why not check out the museum you've been wanting to explore? Bonus points if your parents come with you and offer to pay for it.
4. Spend Quality Time With Family
If you always miss your family when you're at school, why spend all of your time this break in your room? There's nothing quite like playing board games or working on puzzles with your family by the fire, so make every moment count!
5. Have A Few Lazy Days
It wouldn't be winter break if you couldn't go full sloth by spending a few days doing nothing but watching TV and movies. Just make sure you don't let this be your only activity.
6. Play In The Snow
I know it's cold outside and it feels easier to just stay inside and watch the snow fall, but push yourself to get out there. Find your most playful friends, grab some make-shift sleds and play in the snow like it's 1999.
7. Reorganize Or Clean Your Room
Face it, your room desperately needs to be decluttered. Take a few days to properly purge the unnecessary and organize the rest. A clean room makes for a clean mind!
8. Get A Massage
Treat yourself to a massage. Relish in the soft but firm touch of a professional masseuse who can take your pain away. You deserve it!
9. Do That Thing You've Been Avoiding, Yes, That
For some people it might be applying for internships. For others, it might be practicing your instrument. Whatever it is, it's time to get it done. Deal with this issue head-on and most importantly...
