Philadelphia is a pretty amazing city, from looking around historical sites to eating - there is always something fun to do! This city is great for all ages, especially us. Below are a couple things people love to do when they visit around Philly.


1. Go to Center City Sips

Center City Sips is the best place to go to Happy Hour on Wednesday. They offer $5 cocktails, $4 wine, $3 beers and half prices appetizers at over 90 bars and restaurants. This is one of the best places to go with friends if you want to grab a drink and hangout.



2. Go to Spruce Street Harbor Park

This park is a great place to lounge on its signature hammock and enjoy a meal on its floating resturant.


3. Visit Independence Hall

Independence Hall is a signature tourist spot for those who have not been to Philly. Its open throughout the year, but hours vary by season. Its location is right around the Liberty Bell and Constitution Center which is perfect for those who want to knock out all the tourist attractions at once. After that, its fun to grab a drink at the Independence Hall Beer Garden!


4. Walk around South Street

South Street is known as one of the "edgiest" streets in Philly. . The street is filled with tons of bars and restaurants with a mixture of different cultures. This street is fun for all ages for those who want to find something fun to do.


5. Eat a Cheesesteak

Here in Philly, a cheesesteak is an obsession. You can't visit Philly without having one of these. You may have had a Philly Cheesesteak before at home, but unless you've been to Philly - you've never REALLY had a Philly Cheesesteak. Some of the best places include: Tony Luke's, Pat's, Geno's, and Jim's.


6. Bar Hop around Manayunk

Manayunk is pretty much the place to be if you're in your early to mid 20s because it's the best place to grab a drink and hangout with friends. Many people who go to schools around Philly live there because of its location.


7. Eat at Green Eggs Cafe

This Philly brunch spot is the place to go if you want a great meal. Their menu is made for everyone, from meat lovers to vegans, and they offer a selection of unique foods you won't be able to find anywhere else.


8. Go to Festival Pier at Penn's Landing

Festival Pier is a large outfoor stage that offers a bunch of differnt concerts. Throughout the Summer they host different artists and offer block parties with Mad Decent Block Party being one of the most popular.


9. Walk around Rittenhouse Square

Rittenhouse Square is one of the most popular parks among the Philly area. In addition, the neighborhood is filled with tons of restaurants and shopping. It's a beautiful place to walk around and relax.


10. See the Liberty Bell

The Liberty Bell is one of the biggest tourist attractions around Philly. While you're waiting for your tour at Independence Hall you can go around the corner and check this out.
