Let’s face it, dogs are the purest thing on this planet and we probably love our pets a little too much. But, that’s okay because honestly, how could you resist those eyes? So, here are ten signs that you miss your dog in college:

1. You definitely have at least one framed picture of your pup in your dorm.

2. Your dog has been your screensaver at least once during the semester.

3. Every time you FaceTime your parents you ask them to show you your precious pooch.

4. Whenever you come home, the first thing you do is hug the dog (sorry Mom and Dad).

5. All of your friends know your dog’s name.

6. Every time you see a dog on campus you internally cry because you miss yours.

7. Whenever you’re sad (or just bored), you go through your camera roll to look at photos and videos of your baby.

8. You ask your parents to send you pictures on the daily.

9. You’ve shown pictures of your lil doggo to your friends, or your RA, or just random strangers. It’s cool.

10. You really look forward to the next time you’ll get to see the lil furball.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
