Some people were just born to be the center of attention. This may be the cause of being an only child, being popular or just being yourself, but it is certainly not a bad thing. Society is trying to tell us all to blend in and go with the crowd, but for attention lovers like myself, we do just the opposite. This usually leaves a handful of people very disgusted, but leaves the rest of the world loving us because most of the time we are just kind genuine loving people who just love ourselves and love to stand out. Here are ten things that happen on a day to day basis to the ones who can't seem to stay out of the social spotlight.

1. We always look our best.

Since we want people to look at us, we spend lots of time pampering ourselves making us look as beautiful on the outside as we are on the inside. PS We know inner beauty is much more beautiful.

2. We take compliments very seriously.

We aren't afraid to take compliments. We are not those type of people to deny them. When someone compliments us, we are sincerely grateful and will totally compliment you back in an equally sincere way.

3. We love to be surrounded by our friends.

We just love surrounding ourselves with amazing people who loves us for who we are because we love them so much.

4. We're ready to party 24/7.

This one is obvious. What better place for the fun attention lovers than a party. We bring a good time wherever we go.

5. We love to compliment others.

We are genuinely nice people, we love to feel good by making others feel good.

6. We keep up with all the gossip.

Whether it is celebrity gossip or gossip at school, we always know what's going on.

7. We don't tolerate rude people.

Just because we are loud doesn't mean we tolerate people being rude, we aren't afraid to say it like it is, but we are honest and kind about it.

8. And we do NOT stand for people making fun of others.

And we are the FIRST ones to stand up when we see something we don't like.

9. We're loud.

It's just who we are. It's in our nature.

10. e always make an entrance.

And everyone will always know when we arrive, that the fun has begun.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
