Ladies, if your boyfriend does any of these 10 things, don’t let him think you don’t appreciate it. Here are a few things you should thank him for:

1. Communication

Take a moment to thank your man for taking the time out of his busy day to listen to the nitty gritty details of your life. It’s always nice to have someone listen when we need it and to skip the occasional party with friends to communicate with us. They may not know just how much we appreciate it, so thank him the next time he devotes all of his undivided attention to your conversation.

2. His time

You’re not perfect; none of us are. But your boyfriend makes you feel as if your flaws are nonexistent. You can tell him anything and trust that he will be there to support you no matter what. If he can accept your deepest flaws, you know you have a strong bond that is unstoppable. He is understanding of the situations that go on in your life and will provide you comfort. Thank him for letting you carelessly be yourself around him.

4. Honesty

Honesty is hard to come by, because by default we are convinced to lie in order to save ourselves the trouble of the truth. Appreciate the fact that your boyfriend can be open with you about anything in his life and admit to his previous mistakes. His honesty allows you to trust him and that is worth thanking him for.

5. Dedication

If your boyfriend is the one you turn to in times of need to help you get through, let him know how thankful you are. You know that you can always rely on him to give you the motivational boost and he will always have your back. You two are partners in crime and without him, you would be without your best friend.

7. Humor

Even on the worst days, your boyfriend is usually the one to still put a smile on your face. You have your inside jokes and you find yourself unable to stay mad. This is seriously something special, so appreciate it.

8. Spoiling you

Our boyfriends are not obligated to buy us anything, yet there they are, buying us dinner, movies, random gifts, flowers, the whole nine yards. While spoiling is not what makes us love them, they do it because they love us and all we can do is thank them; and get them something special in return.

9. Trust

He trusts you to go out with your friends; he trusts that you will be faithful and doesn’t need a reason for every little thing you do. If you are in a long distance relationship, he trusts that you will be there at the end of the day to talk, or to pick up the phone when he needs to hear your voice. He trusts that you will be there when the distance is over. The trust is the foundation of your relationship and without it, you'd be in deep trouble. Thank him for putting all of his faith into you.

10. Unconditional love

Guaranteed he has seen you in some rough condition, be it when you’re sick or just woken up. But he will look at you as if you are the most beautiful being on the planet regardless. He will give you his unconditional love and let it be known. You can thank him for being the one you can rely on no matter the situation. Thank him for being by your side even in the toughest of times.

I am thankful to be able to say that my boyfriend provides me with all of these 10 things. I may not thank him nearly enough for being my best friend, but he deserves to hear just how much I appreciate the little, fundamental things he does for us. It’s because of these 10 things that he does every day that let’s me know just how much he loves me.
