If I've learned anything in life, it's that not all friendships last forever. Some people disappoint and turn out to be not exactly who you thought they were. Some friendships crash and burn for no other reason than two people drifting apart. While it's a sad reality, the lifelong best friends you make along the way make up for the lost ones. I've had my fair share of friendships with bad endings, but one thing's for sure: I can always count on my high school friends to be there. So, here's to the incredible laughs, memories and adventures we've had over the years. While the list can go on:

1. Thank you for being seen in public with my pre-makeup, fashionably confused self.

2. Thank you for the judgement-free zones that consist of binge eating during late pizza and ice cream runs.

3. Thank you for making me laugh until I cry every time we're together.

4. Thank you for answering my non-stop phone calls, ugly Snapchats and ridiculous chain messages even when you're busy with school.

5. Thank you for believing in me when I didn't believe in myself.

6. Thank you for our unforgettable first shots and holding my hair after I took too many.

7. Thank you for making our four years of the prison we call high school full of fun.

8. Thank you for sharing your clothes when I had nothing to wear and not getting mad when I 'forgot' to give them back.

9. Thank you for making home a fun place to come back to. I wouldn't trade our mini-reunions over breaks for anything.

10. Thank you for still being my best friends after high school and making our distance seem like nothing.
