Oh, how the seasons have changed. I used to ask for designer clothes, $200 boots, the hottest trends, and latest gadgets. Now, I'd be perfectly content if I got an endless supply of Ramen Noodles for Christmas. Is this what growing up feels like?

Here is a list of 10 things on every college student's Christmas list...

1. Sleep

It would be nice to get more than 5 hours of sleep occasionally…and not having to set an alarm in the morning would be pure bliss.

2. Good Grades

Basically...

3. Home Cooked Meals

Because dining hall food just doesn’t cut it.

4. A Large Donation of Money

Because college is expensive.

5. Comfy Clothes

No one cares about looking cute; comfort is all that matters in college. You can never have too many leggings and oversized tshirts.

6. Endless Supply of Caffeine

A necessary component of late night studying.

7. No Stress

Just for once, I’d like to be stress free and be able to relax.

8. Canceled Classes

This is always a blessing.

9. A Finished To-do List

If everything on my never ending to-do list was checked off, I wouldn’t know what to do with myself.

10. Family Time

Because when you’re away at college you don’t get to spend enough quality time with your family.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
