10 Things I Never Thank My Family Enough For

Do you ever sit back and think about everything your family does for you in your life? They raise you to be the best that you could possibly be, unless you fight it and break away. Without my family I would be so lost. They are the reason I am the girl I've became today. So I wanted to say thank you to them all.

To my family,

1. Thank you for loving me when I do not deserve it.

I have done things that have made you mad and said things I should never say. But that does not keep you from helping me when I need it, or showing me unconditional love.

2. Thank you for showing me right from wrong.

I would not be the girl I am today if it wasn't for you showing me what is right and what is wrong in my life. You showed me how to be a strong and independent woman as I am today, and you have no idea how much I appreciate you for it.

3. Thank you for showing me how to love myself.

There was a time that I was so down on myself and so depressed. You pulled me out of it, you made me want to be me.

4. Thank you for never leaving me.

I do not know what I would do without all of you in my life, you mean the entire world to me. When I had nowhere to go you were right there waiting for me, welcoming me.

5. Thank you for forgiving me.

I did things to you that were unforgivable, yet you forgave me for them anyways. I do not deserve such amazing people in my life, but I am happy I have you all.


6. Thank you for teaching me.

Imagine if I did not have you in my life. What kind of girl would I have been? You taught me how to be a better person and show kindness to people, even when they do not deserve it. You taught me to be a fighter, to fight for what I want.

7. Thank you for being my rock.

You are the people that hold me down. I would be lost without you in every way. When I am upset I know I can talk to you and that everything will be okay.

8. Thank you for helping me in a time of need.

I did not know where I was going to go in life, or what I actually wanted for myself until you showed me. You showed me that I am not a failure, and that I will be great.

9. Thank you for understanding me.

If you would not have understood me, then you could have never helped me when I needed it.


10. Thank you for being you.

Thank you for everything you do for me. You pick me up when I am down, you show me how to be the person I want to be, and you teach me how to be the person I am today. Without you all I am nothing. I love you.
