Do your friends and family often tell you to "quiet down?" Are you often ridiculed for talking too much or too loudly? Well, fear not, friend -- you aren't the only one. There are plenty of people who can relate (including myself). In honor of those who favor chatting and can't quite gauge their vocal volume, here are ten situations that you just might happen to relate to.

1. You know how to break the silence in a way that isn't so delicate.

Forget the silence and bring on the noise. It can be painful for you to walk into a room of dead silence, which is why it's often up to you to switch things up.

2. You find it comical when someone thinks that you're quiet or shy.

Ha ha, funny! Truth be told, you don't possess either of those attributes. If you're around the right people, all bets are off.

3. There are only a few instances when your true voice reallysimmers down.

Sitting in early morning classes (or any classes, tbh) is fair game for you to be caught not being loud. Other times that you don't necessarily talk might include when you're around people you don't like or when you're somewhere you don't want to be. Sorry, not sorry!

4. Public speaking isn't as scary to you as it is to others.

There are rare instances in which you get nervous to get up in front of a room of people and talk. Having a lot of people listen to you (because they have to, not necessarily by choice) is more of an honor than a worry.

5. You take your singing to a whole other level.

You take singing in the shower or just for fun to the next diva level. It doesn't matter if you're good or bad, because your attitude and loud vocals slay regardless.

6. Your significant other finds it hard to talk in between your rambling and incessant chatter . . .

No matter how much you love someone, sometimes they just can't keep up with your vocal volume and how much you talk. (Thankfully, they love you for your flaws too, right?)

7. . . . Unless they talk just as much and are as loud as you.

Be careful what you wish for, though! This can honestly be a double-edged sword. While it's nice to have someone to constantly talk to without making life boring, it can also be the kiss of death when you're both loud and stubborn in an argument. Regardless, there are more pros than cons to having them talk just as often.

8. You don't know how to whisper.

Whispering is something that you've tried to learn how to do in the past, but just gave up somewhere along the way. It's something that you simply weren't meant to do, and those around you know better than to make you try.

9. You love meeting new people (especially when they're just as talkative).

If you have friends who aren't quite as loud or as talkative as you, there's a good chance that you're the one to talk first or to approach a total stranger. You don't mind, though, because you love meeting new people (and you jump at any opportunity to be able to talk). It's easy for you to click with others, which makes it even better!

10. Because of your bubbly and outgoing personality, feel free to talk as often and as loudly as you want to.

The world needs people like you. You're energetic, lively, and fun to be around -- don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Cheers to the loud ones, the talkers, and some of the best people on the planet.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
