10 Things I've Learned From Having A Little Sister

"There's no better friend than a sister." I am lucky enough to have two sisters, both are two of my best friends. Having a little sister is amazing, the things you learn from when they are growing up are countless. For me, my little sister has made my life complete she has taught me so much and has given me strength to persevere through anything. Now don't get me wrong we have our fair share of fights and arguments, but at the end of the day I wouldn't trade her for the world. Here are just a few things my little sister has taught me....

1. Watch what you say.

The smaller the sister the bigger the ears, you think I am joking. They always seem to catch everything you say or do no matter how quiet you do it. And don't worry you will get in trouble almost always for "teaching" them those disrespectful words.

2. You'll find yourself obsessing over kids' shows.

Yes it's true, I find myself watching Jessie or Girl Meets World even when my little sister isn't around. Having them constantly on repeat throughout the whole house, I guess you just learn to love them. I even sometimes find myself laughing at the jokes they make, or catch my family even watching Jessie just for fun.

3. You have a mini-me, and it's pretty awesome.

No matter what you always know someone will agree with you on everything. You both are into the same things because she looks up to you and every move you make you better believe she is catching on.

4. My friends seem to love her more than they love me.

I can't even remember how many times my friends have come over and immediately asked where Sophia was, and completely disregarded me. But I get it, I mean after all she is pretty cute.

5.You have someone to show off.

I can't help that I want to brag about everything and anything you do, I mean you make me so proud everyday. Also any opportunity to show off your cute face is an opportunity I'm going to take, I mean after all I am extremely proud to call you my sister.

6. I finally realized what unconditional love is.

I never realized just how much I could love someone until you came along and I feel completely in love with you. Every single day I get to see you grow, and thrive in life and I love it so so so much.

7. I have a life-long best friend.

Now although you're only five I consider you my best friend because you really are, you are always there for me and listen even when you don't quite known whats going on. And not to mention you always have my back and help me get out of a lot of sticky situations by using your cute looks.

8. You taught me how to be patient.

This is something I'm still working on, but you've taught me that not everything in life has to be rushed. You taught me to enjoy the little things in life, and enjoy the moments I'm having rather than wanting to move on to the other moments.

9. You taught me how to be myself.

You are always confident in everything you do and I cannot be more thankful that you passed that on to me. Your confidence blows everyone away, and staying true to yourself is a trait I am so happy you have.

10. You've made me stronger.

Every change you've made in my life and our families has made us stronger and I can't thank you enough for that. You are strong, amazing, and sassy all rolled into one, and we all love it!

Thank you Sophia Grace for teaching me these 10 things and so much more! Love you to pieces nugget!
