I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic; I won't even try to deny it. Like I'm sure a lot of girls have spent some time thinking about who I'd like to be with someday. Here's my list of the five top qualities I'm searching for in a husband.

1. A relationship with Jesus

This is definitely the most important one, and that's why I've placed it at the top of the list. I desire nothing more in my future marriage than to have a husband who loves Jesus more than he could ever love me. I want to be able to love Jesus together and worship him side-by-side.

2. A love and appreciation for family

Family is important. They're your blood, literally. I want a husband who loves and appreciates his family just as much as I love and appreciate mine. And once we get to know each others families, I want us to be able to love and appreciate the others family as much as we do our own!

3. A future

Allow me to be straightforward here: Marrying somebody with a future is important. You don't want to be married to somebody who has no plans to ever get out of their parents basement. I'm absolutely positively seeking out somebody who knows what they want to do with their life and realistically knows how they're going to get there.

4. A desire to be chivalrous

Ah, chivalry is dead you say? Think again. I'm performing CPR on chivalry as we speak. Don't deny it, even the most independent woman would appreciate having a door held open on her behalf every now and then. I can't help but get all heart-eyed over men doing gentlemanly things for women — just for the sake of being sweet.

5. A similar sense of humor to mine

If you asked me if I'm funny, I'd probably try to be humble and say I'm not, but ask my closest friends and they'll all tell you I think I'm absolutely hilarious. I hope to one day find somebody who has the same dry sense of humor I do so we can laugh at each others jokes. Plus, my mom is pretty funny so they need to be willing to laugh at her too.

I may currently be as single as can be, but I know God is working on my future husband and working on me as well. I can't wait to see who he's picked out for me!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
