Maybe instead of going after that super hot chick down the street that goes partying every night or that bad boy who always gets in trouble, you should talk to that shy girl or guy that spends most of their time inside gaming. Trust me the terms get confusing sometimes. Especially if they try telling you about multiple games at once. I finally remember what the terms zoning and trolling mean, and it took me a while.
2. Phone calls
Most of them probably prefer to have phone calls with their significant other because it does not require them to use their hands. Thus, they can play video games at the same time.
3. They are technology geniuses
If something was to go wrong with your phone or computer, they probably know just what to do.
4. They are persistent
At a young age they learned that they would never finish a game if they gave up. Often they take that motto into real life as well. They will always find a way to make something work, no matter what problem they are facing.
5. Gaming competitions
Very serious gamers often go to competitions to compete against others to earn prizes. When you go with then you can see them in all their glory, and support them. You can join the competitions too, if you want to have fun and test out your skills!
6. You're the test dummy in games
When we play together, my boyfriend does not play his main characters because he does not want to take the fun out of the game. Instead he will play with other characters he is not as familiar with, so he can test them out. Also, this gives me a fighting chance at actually winning.
7. Some dates are just on the couch
Once you grab some drinks, snacks, and the controllers you are all set! Go back and forth letting each other pick what game to pick, and have fun!

Honestly, it is the simple things that make them happy. They can spend hours playing as long as they have food, drinks, and a bathroom close by.

They are constantly thinking about different combinations and tactics they can do for different characters, challenges, and games. So when they plan a date, they think it out to even the little details most of the time.

For holidays and birthdays shopping is super easy. Just buy them something related to their favorite video game, and they will cherish it forever.
