I know on a daily basis we can get caught up in thinking about things to complain about, and we don't think about the things we are blessed with. Especially with the horrible things going on this world lately, it has been so easy to fill our minds with such negative thoughts. If we continue to keep thinking with such hate in our hearts, then our attitudes will reflect that. We need to remember all of the good things in life, that we are starting to take for granted. So, instead of letting that consume you, you need to focus on the love and positivity, so we can possess and spread it with one another.
1. Your loved ones

Whether it is your family members or your good friends, you have them. The worst things in life could happen, but having someone who loves you by your side could make a world of a difference.
2. Your favorite song
We all have those songs that make your soul go crazy. On the bad days and even the good days the best thing to do is blare your favorite song and forget about your problems for just a few minutes.
3. Talks with your best friends
One of my favorite things to do is to just sit and talk to my best friends. It could be simple conversations while you're out to eat or those random hour long conversations while you're in a parked car. Those are my favorite moments, but are also moments that could easily be taken for granted.
4. You're able to read this
Whether you are reading this on your laptop, phone, or tablet you are still able to read this. This means you are fortunate enough to have one of the three and even fortunate enough to simply have the eyes and sight to be able to read.
5. Laughter
"Laughter is the best medicine." Enough said.
6. The stars, the moon, and the sun
I think it's easy for people to forget to be thankful for the simple fact that the sun came up this morning. As awful as it sounds, this world could be taken from us in an instant, but it hasn't and the world is still so beautiful. Be thankful that the stars and the moon came out last night and the sun rose this morning.
7. Your emotions
People may say you have too many emotions. But, don't let that stop you from feeling them because those emotions turn into actions which make you who you are.
8. You have a place
Whether you think of this as mentally or physically, you have a "place." Physically, it could be your own place, your parents place, or even your friends place, you have a place with a roof over your head. Mentally, it could be a place in a group/job or in someone's heart. No matter what, you have a place.
9. Freedom to be who you are
I know we can be so judged and hated for being who we are. But, we do have the freedom to have different opinions and speak them. It's 2016 and we are so open to "different" now, take advantage of this freedom to be you.
10. You woke up this morning
So simply and purely, you woke up this morning. Whether you're sick, sad, mad, happy, or tired you still were able to wake up this morning and that as it is is enough to be thankful for.
