She’s the one who is there for you through the ups and downs, knows you better than anyone, and still loves you with all she’s got.
We know how much she loves and cares, but sometimes that love and care go unnoticed when they should not...- Calming you down during every freakout and breakdown that has happened throughout college thus far.
- Not getting mad when we take our bad moods out on her, when she had nothing to do with the reason for the bad mood.
- Not taking it personally when we tell her we called because we were bored.
- The whole gave birth to us thing...
- Crying. Moms cry at everything, and we often think it is annoying at the time, but it’s really just another way of her showing how much she cares.
- Worrying about us. Like the crying thing, this one can get annoying too, but again, it’s just her caring.
- Not freaking out when we call her at midnight with a homework question or to read a paragraph from a paper to make sure it sounds good.
- Listening when you need to vent about a fight with your roommate or about a dumb boy who made you upset.
- Somehow, always knowing just what to say to make us feel better, no matter what situation we find ourselves in.
- Being there. No one in the world will ever have your back like your mom will.
Thanks, Mom. Xoxo.
