There’s something about fall that everyone seems to love, whether it’s the perfect weather, the colors of the leaves, or the fact that everything you see in stores now comes in a pumpkin flavor. Fall just so happens to be my favorite season for those reasons, and many more. Here are some ideas to add to your bucket list to fuel your fall fever!
1. Carve pumpkins.
No fall bucket list is complete without carving pumpkins. Whether you’re a professional pumpkin carver, or not, it’s always fun to complete this activity with your family. After you’re done with the carving, put a candle inside so you can light it up at nighttime.2. Go on a hayride.
This is another fall activity that is essential for your bucket list. It’s always fun to get a bunch of blankets and snuggle up with your family and friends on a chilly evening.
3. Have a bonfire.
Who doesn’t love a good bonfire with roasting marshmallows? I’m craving S’mores already!
4. Go camping.
If you love the outdoors, then camping is always a fun thing to do in the fall. The scenery is perfect at this time of the year, and the weather is just right.
5. Jump in
piles of leaves.
Grab a group of friends and make the biggest piles of leaves you can to jump in. This used to be my favorite thing to do as a kid, and I still enjoy doing it. This can make for some good photo ops!
6. Capture the perfect fall scenery picture. The leaves are so pretty at this time of the year. Drive down a country road, find a good spot, and then park on the side of the road. You will be able to find beautiful scenery to take perfect fall pictures. Then you can upload them to Instagram and everyone will be envious of your feed!
7. Visit a pumpkin patch.
It’s always fun to go pick out your own pumpkin to carve. Buying pumpkins from the store is no fun, so you should go out and get one in a pumpkin patch instead.
8. Go to a fall festival.
The best food, crafts, and decorations can always be found at fall festivals. Most festivals also have contests and live entertainment. You can’t go wrong with this activity!
9. Have a scary movie marathon.
If you’re brave, you can put on your favorite scary
movies, throw on some pajamas, and pop some popcorn to go along with it. If
you’re not so into scary movies, you could also throw on any Halloween movie or TV special. I suggest watching "Garfield's Halloween Adventure."
10. Have a costume contest.
Most teenagers don’t go trick-or-treating anymore, but that doesn’t mean you still won’t need a costume during the fall season. There are always Halloween parties and contests going on, so you should start planning for them now. Get some friends together, create some outfits, and then have a contest to see who can come up with the most creative one.
