Okay, let's be honest, we all know someone who is super shy and quiet. We all know someone who will avoid unnecessary attention and do everything they can to remain in the background of every situation. Sometimes it's like it actually takes more work being shy and quiet.

Here are 10 things that every shy person has done at point or another.

1. You have to repeatedly think through your introduction on the first day of class.

2. You avoid eye contact with your professor at all times in order to avoid being called on.

3. When you're running late so you do your best to get to class on time so everyone doesn't watch you walk in.

4. When you know the answer to a question but you don't answer because you don't want the unnecessary attention from your classmates.

5. If you finish a test early, you wait till someone else turns it in so you won't be the first person to get up.

6. When, in a rare instance, you are feeling bold and introduce yourself to someone you find attractive and it becomes the most awkward experience ever.

7. Because you never talk in class, you get really excited when your professor finally learns your name two weeks after they knew everyone else's.

8. When someone you don't know talks to you, you instantly forget all English words and just stare.

9. When you are forced to do group presentations, or actually anything that involves pubic speaking, and it goes quite terribly.

10. And because you have tried so hard to stay out of the limelight, you have no idea how to react when someone randomly compliments you.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
