It's not that I like winning, I just hate losing... wait no, I just really like winning. From walking up the stairs next to a sibling to playing on a sports team, everything is a competition. Whether good or bad, these are 11 things every competitive person can relate to.
1. Group projects were a nightmare in school. Nobody could do anything right and honestly all you wanted was to take it over solo. I've never met someone that actually enjoys group projects, so why are we forced to suffer through them?
2. Along the same lines, if their was ever a team competition, you did the most to strategize and if anything didn't go according to plan you thought your head might explode.
3. Your siblings went through hell because EVERYTHING was a competition. HA BEAT YOU! "But...!" I WIN! Victory dances were the best part, until they told mom about your obnoxious bragging.
4. While working out at the gym you compete with the person next to you, but only low-key so that way they couldn't try and top you.
5. Family game night can get pretty violent and everyone suffers if you lose. I legitimately cried once while playing Catch Phrase because my team couldn't guess the words. I also repeatedly called them "garbage" and "stupid idiots," but at least I apologized the next day (after telling them I would never be on their team again of course).
6. Studying with friends in the same class is great and all, but you better know I'm going home to study all night so I get a better grade on the test.
7. Your teammates knew better than to try and talk to you after a game/match you just lost. This tended to induce awkwardly quiet car rides home while you continue to pout about the loss.
8. Rage quitting is our speciality and we don't even care how loud our friends scream at us for it. Please don't judge me for the times I've flipped the board game table or thrown a controller, it's primal instinct.
9. You always have to have the last word in any argument.
10. Your love for your favorite sports teams may be described as a little over-the-top by some, but you just prefer the word "passionate".
You can't be a sore loser if your team always wins, right?
