Around the holiday's, parents and family members always want a list of things us college students are looking to receive. And if we don't tell them exactly what we want, we might end up with present's like that old Christmas mug we got from Aunt Sally and have never used, and that hot pink knitted sweater we only wear whenever you go to grandma's house. In order to avoid these awkward gift giving encounters, here is a list of things we might actually want for Christmas this year!
1. "More mac n cheese cups"- Madison Christian (Merrimack College) Breakfast, lunch, and dinner of champions.
2. "An umbrella"- Natalie Lafleur- (University of Rhode Island) I relate to this on a spiritual level. A few weeks ago my roommate and I had to go out during a downpour and neither of us had an umbrella. Not a good night.
3. "Funds to study abroad"- Jill Hissick (Merrimack College)
4. "Some light reading"- Alex LeBlanc (Salve Regina University) The college workload can't stop a true bookworm.
5. "A disco light"- Sylvan Huynh (Suffolk University) I asked Sylvan why, but did not get an explanation. I guess this one will have to be left up to the imagination.
6. "Warm clothes coffee coffee money warm clothes"- Kelly Dankese (Umass Lowell) I think this one speaks for itself.
7. "Winter clothes"- Kat Roberts (Merrimack College) Fun fact: Kat is from California, and this is her first winter in New England!!
8. "Gift cards"- Natalie Lafleur (University of Rhode Island) Anything to not have to pay with real money, am I right?
9. "A case of water"- Grace Webb and Paula Au (University of Rhode Island) For real. I go through a case of water a week. It's exhausting.
10. "$$$"- Kayla Goldman (Merrimack College) That is all.
