10 Thank Yous To My Dad

My dad has taught me a lot in these past 21 years of my life. Dads are always there for you and always seem to teach the most valuable lessons any little girl needs to learn, but we forget to thank them for those lessons.

Here are 10 of the many thank yous to my dad, and I'm sure all dads need to hear them.

1. Thank you for showing me how to stand up for myself. You have always shown me how important I am and that I should never let anyone tell me any differently.

2. Thank you for showing me how to respect the chain of command. This is something that I didn't realize was so important until I got older. You always told me that "It's not what you know, it's who you know."

3. Thank you for showing me how a man should treat me. You have taught me not to settle for anything less than what I deserve. You have shown me exactly the kind of person I want to marry.

4. Thank you for taking me hunting all those years. I loved having those weekends that were just daddy-daughter time. Every girl needs quality time with her father.

5. Thank you for giving me everything I want and need. You have always put me first and made sure that I had everything I needed.

6. Thank you for teaching me how to be independent. It is one of my favorite personality traits.

7. Thank you for always being proud of me. I always know that no matter what happens, as long as I give it my all, you will be proud of me.

8. Thank you for always making me laugh. It never fails that you've always got some joke or something to say to put a smile on my face.

9. Thank you for being there for me. I know I can always count on you for advice.

10. Thank you for being who you are. Without you, dad, I wouldn't be the woman I am today. I can't thank you enough for that.

These are only 10 of the small thank yous that you deserve. Without you, I wouldn't be here today. I can't imagine life without you, and I'm so thankful and blessed to have a dad like you. I love you!
