Wearing glasses causes some of the biggest struggles. We rely on glasses to function, but they're also very frustrating on a day-to-day basis. Although they help us see, life would sometimes be much easier without them. Here are 10 struggles of wearing glasses.
1. The rain
Whenever it rains, it means your glasses are going to get smudged or foggy. Not having an umbrella is basically the equivalent of death for anyone who wears glasses.
2. Any extreme temperature
Glasses fogging is awful. It takes awhile for the fog to go away, and you're temporarily blind.
3. Smudges
Harry Potter is giving his glasses the side-eye. Rolling those eyes at smudges on your glasses is basically the only thing a four-eyed person does. Smudges are way too common and way too annoying.
4. Constantly needing to clean them
Glasses are never clean because of those smudges. There's a constant need to make them perfectly clear.
5. They can never be as clean as you want them to be
Will they ever be clean though? No -- no matter what you do, they will never look like they did the day you got them. There's always something wrong with them.
6. They fall down your face
Consistently pushing them back up your face means running the risk of smudging them. It's an endless cycle.
7. Can't get too close to other people
We all need a Hermoine in our life, because once you hug a person or get near them, your glasses get crushed. There's almost always a noise that makes you think your glasses are breaking.
8. If you scratch them, you're screwed
Scratches are basically the work of the devil. If you scratch your glasses, you will consistently see that scratch. It will be haunting your every glance.
9. When they're loose and you can hear them squeaking every time you put them on
Putting glasses on becomes a constant reminder that you've done damage to them already. That squeaking sound makes you think that they're going to break any instant.
10. You rely on them too much
With all of this being said, however, we would all die without our glasses. We need them to function daily.
