Spring Break is finally here and you know what that means.
They have their ups and their downs and usually form adventures of their own before you even reach your destination. Road trips, mostly the ones over about six or seven hours, have their stages like every other life activity.
Stage 1: Packing

OK, if we turn this bag this way, we can fit the cooler here and set this bag on top and then lay those bags across the top. Can you see through your rearview mirror? No? Well, that's OK; they give you side mirrors for a reason. Crap, I forgot this bag. This will just sit on my lap.
Stage 2: The First State Line

One state down, only three more to go!
Stage 3: Weird, Random Facts

Remember that one time... When I was a kid... Did I ever tell you?
Stage 4: Hangry
Suddenly those 12,000 snacks you all packed just aren't cutting it anymore.
Stop being a drama queen. There's not a good restaurant anywhere around here. No, we are not stopping at McDonald's. Do you need a Snickers?
Stage 5: Singing and Dancing
I like to judge my friendships based on the hardcore karaoke factor.
Oooh turn it up, I love this song. Wait for it... *belts lyrics out*... that's the best part. People probably think we're crazy.
Stage 6: Sore Body Parts
Whether it's your legs being bent the whole time or your back from sitting or your neck from the way you just slept, road trip pains are the worst.
Can we please stop somewhere to stretch? Ugh, I have no room. I just want to get out of here. This seat is not as comfortable anymore. My butt is numb, guys.
Stage 7: Questioning

Where are we? How much longer? Are we there yet? How long have we been on this road? When are we stopping again? How far away is this place?
Stage 8: Sleepy Sillies
There's always the one friend that starts getting weird towards the end due to a lack of sleep.
You're being weird, go to sleep. What are you even laughing at right now? What are you doing? You make no sense. No, it's not that funny.
Stage 9: The Final Stretch
One the GPS has less than an hour, it counts as almost there.
I just want out of here. I just want a bed and comfy clothes. We can do this, guys. Just think, tomorrow we'll wake up and be so happy. Hey, I'm finally seeing signs for our city on the side of the road. We're almost there!
Stage 10: Arrival
Well, if those 12 hours didn't test your friendships.
Freaking finally. OK, now I'm too excited for sleeping. Who wants to go see the beach? I'm ready for a drink! Screw unpacking, let's have some fun!
