Imagine this: your semester is going great. You have good grades, a great social life and you are maintaining your stress levels. That is until the dreaded thing happens: group projects. Your professor drops the news that you will be involved in a group project that not only is a presentation (yuck!) but also a major part of your overall grade.
Unfortunately, we have all been in this boat. Some people have amazing experiences with group projects, but then there are others who have nightmare stories about them. Either way, we have to power through and hope for the best. But we can't forget those stages that everyone goes through. Here's the 10 stages of group projects, told by the cast of Friends.
Stage 1: Hearing the words "group" and "project" in the same sentence, and starting to sweat a little from the anxiety while everyone else is totally calm.
Stage 2: Watching everyone already start to try and team up, but you and your best friend are sitting there like:

Stage 3: Then finding out your professor isn't actually letting you choose your partners.
Stage 4: Being assigned a group where you know absolutely no one.

Stage 5: Trying to plan a meeting time but no one's schedule works, so you just sit there flipping through the days like:
Stage 6: When your group tries to nominate you to take over something major for the assignment, but you're just like:

Stage 7: Being the only member in the group who cares enough to deal with the one kid who never shows up to any meetings or who doesn't answer any emails/texts.

Stage 8: Getting down to the final days of the project and realizing that everyone still has no clue as to what they are doing, but no one is willing to admit it yet.
Stage 9: It's presentation day: the day where that one member is still running around trying to figure out what they are presenting on. Meanwhile, you are counting down the minutes until it is over.

Stage 10: It's over! You can finally leave this horrible group project behind you! But don't get too comfortable, I'm sure another one is right around the corner.
