Philly's a very vibrant place filled with history, art, and interesting foods. From the Rocky steps to the Liberty Bell, center city is pretty great. West Philly is extremely well known due to the TV show 'Fresh Prince of Bel-air'. Although all of Philly is pretty amazing, there's just something special about being from the "northeast". Whether it's understand the slang, mispronouncing words, or simply knowing everyone, northeast Philly is the place to be.

1. Drawlin', Yous, and Jawn makes perfect sense to you.

2. It's Rita's WATER ICE.
It's not Italian Ice, there's a difference.
3. You get made fun of for the way you say water.

4. Everyone either has or used to have "buddies".
You know, the two pieces of hair that are shorter then the rest and don't go into the ponytail so that you don't completely look like a little boy.
5. Crew socks.
Everyone wears them all the time, no matter what the event.
6. WAWA.
The perfect place to go after a late night with friends. Also perfect at midnight, lunch time, or for breakfast. Basically WAWA is always "the move".
7. You know everyone.
Whether you have met them personally, went to grade school with them, or follow them on social media, whenever a name is said, you reply "yea I know them".
8. St Patty's Day, the one time of year that everyone gets along.
All of the neighborhoods "hate" each other but come St. Patty's Day everyone is bffs down at the parade.
