"The Late Friend:" The one friend everyone has who is never on time for anything no matter how hard they try.
Everyone has one friend who is always late for everything, or it could be you. There are quite a few signs to be able to tell if you're actually the late friend or not.
1. Your friends are constantly texting you asking where you are?
Odds are they have all been ready for a half hour now, just waiting.
2. You have to set you alarms 15 mins earlier than you actually need to in order to be ready almost on time.
Yet you know you're still late.
3. Your current walking pace is between a speed walk and a run.
4. You always feel like you have more time than you actually do. But in reality, will five minutes really make a huge difference?
5. Getting ready for whenever you may be going can often be a huge ordeal.
By this point, you're friends expect you to be late. They might even tell you to be there 30 minutes before everyone else just to get you almost on time.
6. You often find yourself unsure about where you should be going, because once again odds are everyone is waiting for you somewhere.
7. You can most often find yourself walking into a 9 a.m. class at exactly 9:01 a.m.
8. You know that being fashionably late is a philosophy of life and actually fashionable.
9. No matter how hard you try, you can never be there exactly when you should.
Sometimes that's OK.
10. Even if you plan you outfit and get all of your belongings together the night before, you will most likely change your outfit twice and change everything you thought you needed for the day at least three times.
11. You never fully understand why everyone is in such a hurry all the time.
12. The phrase "On my way" is often used as you're still brushing your teeth and getting dressed.
Everyone has a late friend, whether it be you, a best friend, or just a friend. Eventually you will come to peace with them never being online, and embrace them how they are. "The late friend, a best friend."
