1. You love knowledge, wisdom ,truth and honesty. You admire the pure heart of an individual. When you meet someone new for the first time, you automatically peer into their heart. You desire to know who they really are. You crave reading and you could read books for days. You would much rather hear an ugly truth than a lie. Honesty is a big deal for you. You aren't going to stick around for fake/shallow friends.

2. You are an observer. You can sit at a dinner table and not say a word. You can soak up every word people say and take everything in. You aren't particularly shy but sometimes you just love to listen. If a friend needs to talk you're their number one. You can listen to anyone's problems and not always have to give advice. Most people just want to be heard.

3. You're thoughtful. You always try to include everyone, never leaving anyone out. You remember the small things about people. You tend to think a lot, reflecting about past experiences. You have most likely had to grow up at a young age or had experiences that were beyond your years. You have an insight into life.

4.You aren't materialistic. It probably drives you crazy hearing people around you talk about the latest trends, electronics or "stuff". You don't have the desire to pursue things that are material. You pursue relationships, changes in life and memories.

5. You give advice well beyond your years. Even you're surprised at the advice you give. You have a lot of experience in life already and can prepare others for what may come. You are 100% authentic and that's why people trust you.

6.You have an appreciation for old literature. You love the classics. Reading 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in third grade and thriving on every second of it. These books hold a historical place in time. There is such value in reading and cherishing them.

7. You probably own a record player, typewriter and polaroid camera. You recognize the nostalgia in items such as these. Antiques give you joy because you're connecting with a time that has gone by.

8.You see no need in being unnecessarily stressed out. You don’t invite drama just because it makes you feel alive, no, you’d much prefer to live without it. You appreciate the quiet, and invite peace. It’s become apparent to you that the world views stress and busyness as being productive. But you know that being productive has nothing to do with being crazy busy or stressed, but everything to do with how well you utilize your time.

9.You value deep connections. For you, it’s all about quality over quantity. You require a deeper connection with those around you in order to feel any connection at all. Half-hearted friendships and surface-level relationships are not your thing.

10. You value the company of those much older than you. At a time when we seem to have less time for the more mature among us, the old soul has nothing but time to give. That’s because you appreciate what they have to share, and let’s be honest, you secretly wish for a time when life seemed so simple.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
