They’ve seen you at your absolute lowest points and they’ve seen you at your highest. You know you can go to them when you’ve made a mistake because they won’t judge your actions. They make you laugh so hard your stomach hurts, and they know your most cringe-worthy secrets. They’re your favorite people in the world.
1. You speak to each other in weird voices/accents.
When other people hear you communicating with one another, they just think you're weird. But it's okay, because you know you're hilarious.2. You have too many inside jokes to count.
These go hand in hand with the strange voices. Man, you guys are such weirdos. It's a good thing you have each other.
3. They've legitimately threatened to hurt someone who hurt you (or could potentially hurt you in the future).
No, they don't need to hurt that boy just because he dumped you. Or that girl just because she gave you a dirty look. But you appreciate where their heart is. You know they have your back.4. Your parents like them more than you.
Seriously. You have zero shot of being the favorite when they are around.
5. They encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone.
No, it's not peer pressure! It's just encouragement to be a little brave.6. But they stop you before you do something totally stupid (usually).
Okay, you're not thinking clearly at the moment. It's a good thing you have them to step in for you.
7. They finish your sentences for you.
It's like you're the same person.
8. It's completely acceptable (and expected) to look like a garbage can when you're hanging out.
Forgot to put on deodorant? Haven't showered in three days? Breath smell like a fire-breathing dragon? It's no problem.9. Half their wardrobe is at your house, and vice versa. ![]()
"Is that my shirt?"
"I don't know. It's been sitting on my chair for like 6 months."
