10 Signs You Are A Coffee Addict

Every day millions of people drink coffee as part of their daily routine. Some drink coffee for the caffeine benefits and others drink it simply because they like it. Either way, coffee is addictive to every drinker...but are you a true coffee addict?

Here are 10 signs that you are the epitome of a coffee addict:

1. You can drink coffee at any time of the day.

There is literally never a bad time to drink coffee, whether it is 9 a.m. or 9 p.m. You can always have a cup or two of coffee at nighttime and have no difficulty falling asleep a couple hours later.

2. Coffee has slowly stopped affecting you.

You drink so much coffee that the caffeine does not even affect you anymore. You don't need it in the morning to wake you up or get you through the day; you simply drink coffee because you love the taste.

3. You can never have enough coffee.

One cup of coffee is never enough. Most likely you need three or four cups in one sitting to fulfill your coffee needs for the moment. It's either that or the large size at the Dunkin' drive thru.

4. You don't discriminate.

Forget the whole Dunkin Donuts vs. Starbucks debate. You don't care. As long as you are drinking coffee you don't care where it's from. Coffee is coffee in your opinion.

5. You don't share your coffee.

If someone asks to have a sip of your coffee or to even try it, you won't let them. You're very possessive over it. You get protective if someone even comes close to your coffee.

6. Having a bad cup of coffee can literally ruin your day.

If you order your coffee at the drive thru and the barista messes up your order or, even worse, gives you someone else's order, it can immediately put you in a bad mood. Nothing is worse than expecting a hot caramel coffee and receiving a black iced coffee instead.

7. You love everything coffee flavored.

If you aren't physically drinking your coffee, you'll find other ways to get your daily fix. Whether it's coffee ice cream, coffee cake, or coffee flavored cookies, you can't go wrong.

8. You get mad when people say you have a coffee problem.

As if. There is no such thing as having a coffee problem and when people say you drink too much coffee you get slightly defensive and quickly say you don't have a problem.

9. Coffee solves your problems.

Whether you are feeling sad, lonely, or even need some inspiration, you drink some coffee. It's like coffee has some magical power over you and once you drink a cup, you immediately feel better.

10. The idea of ever giving up coffee is terrifying.

Coffee is basically a main food group for you and the idea of ever not drinking coffee is simply unimaginable. It would be detrimental to you and your mental health if you didn't drink coffee every day.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
