Everyone knows that one person who loves dogs. But then there are those people who are absolutely dog obsessed. Here are five signs you are that dog obsessed person!
1. They cover your social media.
On Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or Instagram, pictures cover every inch of your social media websites. You constantly are posting about Fluffy or Champ sprawled out on the couch, or how a strangers dog simply can not master catching food in its mouth. Your love for dogs knows no boundaries!
2. They flock to you.
No matter where you are, dogs always seem to find you. Whether it be dogs in the park, on the street, or a friend's, they come to you and absolutely love you. If you are in the house, they follow you and must be wherever you are. It is said that dogs know a good person from a bad one! You must have that friendly scent!
3. You talk to them.
You constantly are having a conversation with them (as if they can comprehend what you are saying to them). I'm not the only who does this, right?
4. Dogs dying in movies make you upset.
A dog dying in a movie is too much for you and you curse the person who would recommend such a movie. How dare they!
5. You already have names picked out.
You already know the names of your future dog(s)! From Teddy, Macy or even naming your dog after a huge franchise like Yoda, you have them all planned out!
6. Someone who doesn't like dogs is soulless.
You just cannot imagine why someone would not like dogs. They are just too cute! What did dogs ever do to them?
7. Your significant other must love dogs.
The thought of being with someone who doesn't share your love for dogs is ridiculous! You want to be able to share that love with someone who understands it.
8. You talk to them in the "baby" voice.
"Oh my goodness! Who's a cutie wootie? You are!" Everyone knows that voice and, let's admit it, we've all used it! We just can't help it, they are just too darn cute!
9. You go out of your way to pet one.
For me, my favorite dogs are Golden Retrievers and Boxers, so if I see one you sure as heck know I'll be making a bee line for that Boxer puppy two blocks down and I am not going to be ashamed! I love that puppy breath!
10. They are your family.
It is just not possible for you to imagine your life without your dog. They are your best friend and your family. They are there for you when no one else is or can be. Losing them would be absolutely be devastating.
If most of these signs apply to you, you are dog obsessed! It is a sickness that I see going around to everyone and I even have it! I have puppy love!
