Every friend in a group has a designated position: planner, energizers, hot mess, etc. However, none of these are as important as the person who is known as the ‘Mom’. This is the person who you can talk to like a friend, but also will give it to you straight. They know when to have a good time but are also the most grounded, stable person you know. Here’s how you’ll know if you’re the Mom Friend:
1. You have a giant purse filled with things such as gum/mints, phone charger, mini deodorant/perfume, hand sanitizer, lotion, tissues, hair bands and other essentials.

2. Your friends always have extra money because you’re basically their chauffeur and are always driving them around town. Sorry, Uber.

3. You have bags-on-bags under your eyes from all the 3 a.m. phone calls when your friends are having a breakdown.

4. You might as well be a therapist because all your friend come to you with their drama and life dilemmas.

5. You’re a walking 7-11 because of all the snacks you have to carry around. Food is always a necessity.

6. You’re always telling your friends how much you love them, to the point that they probably think you’re overly obsessed with them. But, hey, it’s a mother’s job to make sure their ‘children’ know they are loved.

7. You’ve mastered the “We need to talk…” lecture because you’re the one who always has to hold the real talks.

8. When your friends go a little too wild, you’re the one in the bathroom patting them on the back and helping them through.

9. Nothing brings you more joy than hearing about their accomplishments because you love to brag about how great they are.

10. You love being reunited with your 'children' during breaks so they can tell you all about their life, and you can go back to disciplining them.
