1. They had a Headmaster instead of a principle, ate in the Dining Hall, and went to the Infirmary when they were sick. Remind you of anywhere?
2. They're already used to living on their own in a dorm, and are familiar with having to take care of their own laundry, either on their own or with E&R.

3. They're very appreciative of even the little freedoms, like having all night internet and 2-day weekends after years of Saturday classes.

4. They're used to hooking up in any place other than their own rooms, because violating inter-dorming rules at boarding school was a serious offense.

5. In freshmen year, they'll be a little hesitant to leave campus without signing out like they've had to do for the past 4 years.

6. They're already used to being sick all the time, and because of that, they are better at holding themselves together.

7. They never lock their doors and don't hesitate to leave their stuff unattended in the library, because that's the norm at boarding school.

8. Used to strict (punishable by expulsion) drug and alcohol policies, they'll ask you if you want to "Robo-trip" or do "whip-its." But you're in college now, so say no.

9. Their closets are full of dress shirts and they are in serious need of more casual clothes. Most of their schools had "look books" that pictured the best-dressed students of the day.

10. They'll wear apparel with their school's name on it. And don't worry, if not, they'll tell you that they went to boarding school probably within the first 15 minutes of meeting you.
