If you have ever seen Parks and Recreation, you know that Leslie Knope is quite the character. Every episode highlights Leslie's personality in so many unique and awesome ways. In one scene, she is determined and hard-working, and in the next scene she could be an upset, aggravated, childish mess. If you can relate to any of the following qualities, then you are the Leslie Knope of your friend circle.
1. You are super organized.
You take pride in your work and you have to make sure everything is in the right place. Being organized is actually kind of fun for you, because you get to personalize your stuff the way you want it to be. And it is also kind of fun to color code everything to help remember what stuff belongs in each category.
2. You love breakfast food. Especially waffles.
You are down to eat breakfast food at all times of the day, because it is always the perfect time to eat waffles.
3. You look to your friends for support.
Whenever you are feeling anxious or nervous about something, your friends are always there to help you relax. They are used to the weird requests you ask of them, because they know that you are counting on them; plus, you know they help calm you down.
4. And when it is your turn to support them, you go all out.
Whenever you hear good news about your friends or you see them doing something they are passionate about, you cannot help but cheer them on. You want them to know how awesome you think they are, and you do not care how embarrassing you may look while doing so.
5. You even give yourself pep-talks when necessary.
Because who better to give you advice than yourself when your friends are not reachable?
6. You are not very good at hiding your emotions.
When you are upset or sad, there is no hiding those feelings from showing up on your face. You try to keep a stern poker face, but people see right through you.
7. You are still a child at heart.
You still celebrate holidays such as Halloween, Easter, and Christmas just like a 10-year-old would, and you are eager to get presents and candy from family and friends. And let's be honest, we all know that the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus are real.
8. You try to be cool and make jokes, but it does not always work out the way you want it to.
We have all been there. You are around someone you want to impress and you try to say something witty and it just ends up going downhill really fast. It happens.
9. You put a lot of thought into gifts for your friends.
The amount of love and care you have for your friends is at an all time high. You always want to give the most perfect gift to your friends, one that you know they will love. It is also fun for you to come up with unique things to give to your friends.
10. You always express how much you care about your friends and family.
Whether it is physical or vocal expressions, your friends are constantly reminded of how much they mean to you. Even just engaging in a regular conversation with them could lead to you saying something such as, "Oh Ann, you magnificent swan" (said by Leslie to her BFF Ann Perkins). You are full of love and appreciation, and you cannot help it.
