As a college student, and a girl who is always on the go, coffee drinking has become my most involved hobby. And what's my go-to coffee hot-spot? Starbucks of course. I mean, do you really expect Dunkin's watery, overly sweetened coffee to keep me movin', I think not! Starbucks is near and dear to my heart; it is as close to me as some of my friends are (literally). These are only some (I had to narrow back the list...a lot) of the reasons Starbucks is a girl's best friend:
1. The coffee always kicks you into gear.
Starbucks' coffee is equally as strong as it is delicious. A coffee from Starbucks is sure to put a little pep in your step, just as any BFF would.
2. It keeps you uplifted and motivated throughout the day.
Starbucks gives you the push you need to take on each day (and god knows you need that push!).
3. Whatever you're in the mood for, Starbucks is up to the challenge.
Are you feeling sassy? Go for an iced cinnamon dolce latte. Feeling extra sweet? Order a caramelized honey latte (with whip!). Feeling extraordinary? You can never go wrong with an iced coffee. Starbucks is always up to match your mood.
4. It allows you to be an individual.
The best part of having Starbucks as a BFF? It always encourages your creative side. Mix it up: Add a shot of espresso, an extra pump of caramel or shake it up completely.
5. It sticks around through the good and bad.
Are you sad? Starbucks can fix that right up. Happy? don't worry there's a drink for that too!
6. Starbucks coffee will go on a walk, to class, to work, wherever you want to go!
Starbucks is an acceptable accessory for every occasion. How about the gym, you ask? Well, you do need energy to run, don't you?
7. It always cheers you up.
As you pull up to the parking lot, butterflies start to fill your stomach. I mean forget the first sip of your carefully ordered drink; that feeling is truly indescribable.
8. You always feel welcomed and at home when visiting Starbucks.
Walking into Starbucks is just like walking into your BFF's house. You know where everything is, you quickly cozy up in a chair, you make use of the WiFi and of course you don't feel ashamed. It's like this place was built to be your hideaway.
9. You hate being without it for too long.
It's been 24 hours! Starbucks, where are you?
10. The moments you are apart make you realize how much you truly adore it.
If you drank Starbucks 24/7, you would never appreciate it. Those five minutes you spend apart from Starbucks teaches you true appreciation.
