10 Reasons Why Kate Middleton is Perfect

At this point, probably every person on earth would agree that Kate Middleton is nothing short of absolute perfection. She is (literally) the princess that every little girl grows up dreaming about. With her impeccable style, adorable family and enviable hair, what’s not to love?

As if you needed any more convincing, here are 10 reasons the Duchess of Cambridge is completely flawless:

1. Her hair. There is not a woman in the world who can truthfully say she is not jealous of Kate's always-perfectly-coiffed signature blowout hairstyle.

2. Prince George. It’s no secret that the future king is ridiculously adorable, with those chubby cheeks, blonde hair and mischievous smile. I can only pray that my future child is half as cute as Kate’s.

3. Prince William. She went from normal college student to royalty; thanks, William. If you don’t think Will and Kate are the cutest couple you’ve ever seen, you are lying to yourself. In fact, Will deserves his own list of why he is perfect.

4. Her poise. Despite constantly being in the international spotlight, Kate never loses her cool. Instead, she always manages to act with perfect grace and dignity (all while looking perfect.) Have you ever read a negative story about Kate Middleton? No, you have not.

5. Her wardrobe. Kate’s style is timeless, yet fashionable. She demonstrates to women worldwide that they can, in fact, look stylish while still being modest and classy.

6. The royal wedding. In 11th grade, every girl I knew stayed up late to watch the wedding of the century. From her stunning dress to the splendor of Westminster Abbey and the famous guests dressed to the nines, her wedding surpassed even Pinterest wedding standards.

7. She looked perfect one day after giving birth. This is something that probably no other woman can really accomplish. Heck, she looked better that day than I do on a daily basis.

8. She recycles her outfits. Not in the “Lizzie McGuire, outfit repeater” kind of way, but in the down to earth, just like us, not stuck up kind of way. She’s not too good to wear a dress more than one time (looking at you, Kim Kardashian).

9. She knows how to have fun. Kate is not one to turn down a game of field hockey, volleyball or cricket (among other games). And, not surprisingly, she does it in fabulous dresses and high heels.

10. She’s fit. Kate has a rockin’ bod, the subject of gossip magazine articles everywhere (don’t lie, you know you read them too).

Basically, Kate is the closest thing to perfection that you’ll ever come across. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a Pinterest board dedicated to her.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
