1. Fireworks, fireworks, fireworks!

There's nothing more beautiful.

2. The food.

Everyone loves some good cookout food!

3. Everyone in this country can celebrate.

It's one of the few holidays that all people of all types and all religions can celebrate.

4. America-themed everything.

Clothes, playlists, food, literally EVERYTHING!

5. The weather is always gorgeous!

There's nothing better than being patriotic in sweet summertime.

6. Spending time with close friends and family.

This day brings everyone together to reminisce and catch up on old times.

7. Everyone is on the same team.

We can all put political parties and views to the side for this special day and become one.

8. Parades.

Who doesn't love a good parade?

9. Feeling grateful for those who have given you this freedom.

We should be grateful everyday, but especially grateful today for those who have and still are fighting for this gift of freedom that we have.

10. America is the greatest country in the world.

Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
