10 reasons why cats are the best pets!

With national cat day on Saturday, here is why we should be celebrating them as animals!

1) They are independent and proud of it!

Cats don't need to be mollycoddled, you can leave them to come in and out, letting them go to work, have a date for the night and sort their lives out all by themselves (they put us to shame really!)

2) But they still love cuddles!

No matter how independent they are, they make sure they look after their humans by letting you stroke them, or most cats even like a good cuddle.

3) They are also great listeners

Cats know that their human owners need a good rant every now and then, and can actually be really good listeners as long as you play with their fur.

4) They don't have to go for a walk everyday but they make their own fun!
