We treasure the friendships we have with our “girl” friends. They comfort us through breakups and PMS; they get pedicures and watch “chick flicks” with us. Nothing can replace “our girls." But there are benefits to having guy friends too.

Here are 10 reasons all girls needs at least one close guy friend…

1. You never feel like you’re in competition with him.

2. You can ask him advice relationship advice from a male perspective.

3. He’ll tell you if you look fat in those jeans without hurting your feelings.

4. He doesn’t notice when you’re overdue for a hair appointment.

5. You can watch and talk about sports with him.











6. He can get the twist top off of your Gatorade bottle.

7. He doesn’t have a lot of drama.

8. It’s like having another sibling.
