Smash Mouth's greatest hit? The Proclaimers? The Monkees? Eels? Joan Jett? Leonard Cohen? What more could you ask for?

2. It's obviously hilarious

"Oh you're a GIRL dragon oh SURE I mean of COURSE you're a girl dragon!"

3. It's a better Beauty and the Beast story than Beauty and the Beast

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and real love doesn't require someone to turn into a lovely shiny new beautiful person.

4. It teaches lessons about judging a book by its cover

"They judge me before they even know me. That's why I'm better off alone"

5. It's fun for all ages

Dirty jokes AND regular jokes! Yay!

6. It makes fun of fairy tales

"You think Shrek is your true love?!"

7. Seriously, it's really funny
