They don't care what car you drive. They don't care who you know. They don't care where you live. They don't care what you wear. They only care that you're there.
1. They give the best cuddles.
Dogs are pro-cuddlers, it's like they know just how to not piss you off. They shift with you when you sleep and help make for a peaceful night of warmth and comfort,
2. Dogs have your back.
They defend you in all circumstances. Even if it's just your little brother knocking on the door, they go into full defense mode until they realize you're alright.
3. Dogs act as mini-dishwashers.
Have you ever been done eating and thought, 'Man I waste so much food', if so get a dog! They act as mini-dishwashers and will clean up just about any mess you make on your plate.
4. They're mini-motivators!
I have never seen someone or something so excited to go on a walk before! In fact, all you have to say is outside and they're practically dragging you to get moving.
5. You NEVER have to eat alone. (...or you never get to eat alone)
Friends busy? No money to go out to eat? Don't be alarmed! You'll always have a sidekick sitting by you with puppy dog eyes willing to eat with you. Those puppy dog eyes never get old!
6. Dogs don't hold grudges.
We all have someone holding a grudge with us or we're holding one with them. Good thing about dogs? They don't hold grudges. They typically deal with it and move on. Could you imagine what a world we would have if humans acted that way?
7. They aren't judgmental.
We have all done something stupid and best friends are always there to hear us out. But good thing about dogs is: they don't judge. Your human best friends can say told you so when things go wrong. But dogs, they don't do that. All they do is curl up on the couch with you and love you for you. (And all the stupid things that come along with it.)
8. They're never moody.
Waking up in a bad mood is nearly impossible for a dog. They can fall asleep at the same time as you but they're always more ready to get up and get going then you'll ever be. If only it were possible to send them to work for you at 5 a.m....
9. Loyalty.
If you show a dog love, they will love you forever. You don't ever have to be afraid of breaking up or parting ways because that bond sticks, no matter how long you're out of the house they will always be most excited to see you.
10. They love you more then they love themselves.
You could have done something so terrible that it made the entire universe hate you. That'll never happen with a dog. As long as they're breathing, they'll love you unconditionally.
