I can't lie and say it's easy, but I can say it is worth it!

1. He looks good in that uniform.

Goodness gracious the good Lord himself couldn't keep you off of him when he's in that uniform!

2. He has so much respect.

From paying for your dinner to opening your door, and standing at attention when the national Anthem plays, it melts your heart.

3. Your time together is extra special.

Well since you never see him, when you are together it's like the world has stopped and nothing else matters but being in his arms.

4. He loves you a special kind of way.

It's a strong kind of love.

5. A date is a date.

Whether it's getting McDonalds to-go and watching Netflix or eating out some where fancy, It's a date and you just appreciate that you have time with him.

6. He can make your day with a phone call simply saying "I love you, and I'm okay."

7. You know you will marry him one day.

I mean you wait months to see him, and sometimes wait for a phone call once a week. Who would put up with that if they weren't in for the long run right?

8. Homecomings.

They are the absolute best feeling in the world! Butterflies swarm in your stomach when you two make eye contact again for the first time in a while. It's a feeling like no other.

9. You build a trust that cannot be broken.

He's away 24/7, sometimes doing things he can't talk about. But you trust him, because even being miles and miles away he still continues to be faithful and show his love for you.

10. Hearing his voice becomes more than just a phone or Skype call.

It becomes something that gets you through the day, or week, and reassures you that it is all worth it in the end!

It's tough sometimes. But when love is strong, it can overcome anything.
