Netflix is a pivotal part of today’s pop culture and has a show for everyone. While some are drawn to the new hot original series or want to re-watch the new season of a drama or comedy that already aired on television. However, we all know the feeling when your series ends and you are at a loss of what to do next. My next move is to turn on an old reliable: "FRIENDS". Although most people my age never watched "FRIENDS" when it was still on regular television (back in 2004), Netflix has given millennials a chance to experience the adventures of Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey and Ross as they live the dream life in New York City. So let's all sit down with a cup of coffee and relive the one where I talk about 10 reasons why FRIENDS is the most reliable show on Netflix.

1. It’s funny.

The quirky jokes from every character are sure to provide a laugh.

2. It's predictable.

No shocking cliffhangers here. Just lots of laughs and happy times with one of America's favorite groups of friends. It's also on all the time, all year long, so you can watch it whenever you want.

3. It's relatable.

The problems and situations they have are often hilarious, but I'm sure we all have had the same thing happen to us at one point or another.

4. It gives us things to dream about.

Watching "FRIENDS" makes us believe that we can be whoever we want. If we want to be bold like Rachel, funny like Chandler, quirky like Phoebe, bossy like Monica, gullible like Joey or smart like Ross, nothing is stopping us.

5. We all have a favorite character.

Some of us like one of the classic six while others like a supporting character, like Janice or another girlfriend or boyfriend. I’ve always been a fan of Phoebe’s alter ego Regina Phalange.

6. It’s emotional.

It makes us laugh, it makes us cry, it's the feel good television show of the 1990s and beyond. These characters are literally our "friends" and we get emotional along with them.

7. It's realistic.

While we may not live with a chick or a duck or have our towels arranged in 11 different categories, we are able to watch realistic relationships among friends, messy breakups and the unlikely romantic relationships that will stand the test of time.

8. It reminds us that we don’t need to always have it figured out.

The fact that Rachel can leave her fiancee at the alter and move to New York City in Season 1 and eventually become a fashion executive by the end of the series proves that hard work, timing and good friends can take you anywhere you want to go.

9. It defines what true friendship is.

Some of the best times can be spent with friends and this show is proof of that. The best kind of friend is the one who gets as excited as you when a "FRIENDS" marathon is on.

10. It will always be there for you (unless Netflix takes it away).

To the people at Netflix, if you take away "FRIENDS" one day, you will be taking away my TV friends. I may be able to recite the episodes and know what season I'm watching based on their hairstyles, but I will never stop watching because it makes me happy. Netflix is meant to let people escape from real life for an episode (or season) and I will always depend on seeing my friends each day. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll be watching this show with my kids and my husband (aka my lobster). If you don’t get that reference, log into Netflix and immediately turn on The One With the Prom Video, it’s a classic!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
