Dogs are possibly the best animals ever. They are so friendly and love you more than you thought anyone could love you. They are loyal and will protect you at all costs. However, those aren’t the only reasons why Dogs are the best pets and make your day 10 times better (HA no pun intended).
1. They love you unconditionally.
Dogs love you even if you have made some poor decisions. They don’t know any better and only see you as the best thing ever. You are their world and will stand by you no matter what, making them incredibly loyal.
2. You are their whole life.
Unfortunately dogs don’t live until they are 100 like we do. They only have a short period of time with us, but that doesn’t stop them from being one of the happiest animals on Earth. We are their whole life even if they are only a part of ours and just knowing that we, as owners, have made their life awesome is something to be happy about.
3. They make your day better instantly.
As stated before, they are one of the happiest animals on Earth and seeing them happy, makes you happy almost instantaneously. They are adorable, so even if you had a bad day they make it better just by being them.
4. The find the greatest joy through the simplest things like a walk or a car ride.
It is hilarious when you ask them if they want to go for a ride and they get so excited they run around the house. Or even if you grab the leash to take them for a walk they get so excited they start to jump in circles or try to grab the leash from you.
5. They are the best listeners.
Dogs are also your best friend because they are there for you even when you are going through a hard time such as a break up or even if you got in a little fight with your friend. You vent to them about your problems and they just sit there huffing and puffing having no clue what you are talking about but it doesn’t matter to them because at least you are giving them attention.
6. They are your best friend.
Dogs know when something is up with you, just like your best friend knows. They remain by you when you are sick and make sure you are okay. I know some dogs bring their toys to their owners when they are sick. Although, most simply wont leave their owners side until they are healthy again. However, they are also your best friend because they are always there for you no matter the circumstances.
7. They watch TV with you without hogging the remote.
This is the best thing. You have a partner to watch TV with you and they don’t say anything about not liking the TV show or taking the remote to “see something” and not give it back like our parents or siblings do. Our dogs just want to be with us no matter what we are doing.
8. They are always waiting for you when you come home.
All dogs are so excited for you to come home. They sit in one spot and simply cannot wait for us to come back home, even if it is only for 10 minutes. They get so excited to see us when we finally do come home because they love us THAT much.
9. They are the silliest, craziest, fun-loving animals.
Dogs do the silliest things and don’t even realize it. There are videos all over the Internet of dogs doing hilarious things, such as riding a skateboard, surfing, dancing or even just running around in circles for no apparent reason. They are just such happy animals how can you not love them?
10. They love to snuggle.
Another awesome quality about dogs is that they are always down to snuggle up with you. Sometimes we aren’t in the mood for it but they ALWAYS are. It is quite adorable and it just makes them that much more lovable.
Dogs are a gift to us. I personally have a dog-named Daisy and I cannot imagine my life without her, as I’m sure many dog owners feel the same. Daisy is simply the cutest, goofiest, weirdest and most loving dog all at the same time. Many dogs are like this and you just can’t get enough of them. They always make a positive impact in your life and just being around them can bring your mood from a 3 to a 10! Hence why dogs really are the best animals/pets EVER.
