1. They Don't Talk Back
OK, so this may not be completely true but for the most part dogs never talk back. Unlike hearing your friends complain about you doing something they don’t agree with, dogs will just sit there and listen. They accept you, even when you make mistakes.
2. They Always Want To Cuddle
You may not always have someone with you to cuddle and that sucks. But unlike unavailable people, dogs are always open for cuddling. They love to cuddle and enjoy your love too. Plus not to mention, they will never judge you if you fall asleep during the beginning of a movie.
3. They Love You Unconditionally
Not all of us have unconditional love from other people but we can have it with our furry companion. No matter what, your dog will always love you. On your good days and your bad days, for better or for worse, they will love you through it all.
4. They Are Always Happy
We all know several people, I’m sure, that are grouches. Who likes to be around grouchy people all the time? I know I don’t. Have you ever met a grouchy dog? I mean you have the occasional mean dog, but a dog isn’t born mean. Having a furry companion that is always happy is so awesome! Most of the time, their happy mood will wear off on you.
5. They Are Always Loyal
How many of us have a difficult time finding loyalty? A dog is always there for you no matter what kind of day you are having, what you look like or whatever you may be going through. They will never get up and leave you one day. They accept you for you and you are all that matters for them. Dogs are even there for you even when you need a little privacy. Dogs for sure get an A+ on my scale for loyalty.

OK, we have all seen someone out and about that we either A: don’t like or B: find unattractive. Most of the time after seeing this person, you are wishing that you can unsee them for the rest of the day. Unfortunately, that rarely happens. Can you honestly say that you have ever seen a dog that you don’t find cute? Is that even possible? Even if you see a weird/funny looking puppy, I am sure when you think about them the rest of the day it will put a smile on your face and you will remember how cute they really are.
8. They Will Always Be Your Workout Buddy
We all make plans to go to the gym or to go on a walk with that one friend that always bails. Unlike people, your dog will always be ready to go with you. Dogs love exercise and it is even better for them when they get to do it with you! Dogs will always have the energy to exercise with you, unlike people.
9. They Are Always Happy To See You![]()
We all have people in our lives that we either get tired of or they get tired of us. Dogs are always happy to see you. You could spend the entire day with your dogs and leave the for a minute, but when you return, they will be sure to show you that they missed you. Dogs are always happy to see you come back and will continue to love you regardless of how much time you spend with them.
10. They Always Forgive
Forgiveness is something that isn’t easy for all, but is easy for dogs. Unlike carrying on a argument or disagreement, dogs will forgive you almost immediately. They forgive you when you are wrong or right. They love you and know that not forgiving you is the least of their worries.
