At first, I was hesitant to watch the show. Yes, I had heard many things about it, however, I put off watching the show for years. It was always on my recommended Netflix selections which seemed to be of an adequate bingeing length. However, what pushed me to watch the show was one finding out that many actors from some of my other favorite shows appeared here as well. And with Gilmore Girls, you get endless food and coffee consumption paired with timeless, witty banter.

1. Rory and Lorelai's mother-daughter relationship is the best one I have seen on television.

2. The show has countless references to your favorite books and movies. They will make you feel like you need to watch more movies or pick up a new book.

3. The Gilmore Girls’ love lives are never dull. Both ladies have roller coaster relationships that have you rooting for your favorites.

4. Lorelai never runs out of snappy comebacks. The more you watch the show, the more you wonder what she is going to say next.

5. Emily Gilmore throws major shade throughout the show. She ‘reads’ her own daughter on several occasions.

6. The small town never has a dull moment. The town's people cling on to every piece of juicy gossip; they need their own gossip girl.

7. The dialogue will have you laughing nonstop. The show is a greatly written witty comedy.

8. It provides really good relationship advice. You learn from their many relationship mistakes.

9. It shows a unique take on motherhood.

10. The show will make you want to buckle down and work harder. Rory and Lorelai are extremely ambitious and you’ll want to do start a bucket list.
