Disney is a nostalgic part of our past. Most kids were raised on the Disney classic’s such as "Aladdin", "Hercules", "The Lion King" and "Tarzan". They are movies we cherish, even in our adulthood because of the lessons the taught us throughout our childhood.
1. You Know How Special Moments Are
Like all the end scenes to every Disney movie, there is a moment when friends and lovers all take a moment to stare off into the beauty of their success.
2. You Trust in the Good
In every Disney movie, each Princess, each hero, each character believes in the best in people. Through that is hard to do in the real world, it shares the message of love rather than dark loneliness.
3. You Fight for What You Believe In
Every Disney character has that one trial that makes or breaks them. Mulan didn’t stop fighting to save her father. Hercules didn’t stop fighting for his place in his family. Sleeping Beauty’s Prince didn’t stop fighting to save her. And you can’t stop fighting until you reach your goal.
4. Family Means Everything
Family doesn’t have to be blood. Family means those who will be there for you in the best and worst of times. “Ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind.”
5. You Know All the Disney SongsDisney songs are simply magical on their own.
It’s the most powerful magic on Earth.
7. You Believe in MagicSure, it doesn’t have to be fairies, or pixie dust, but the magic of a beautiful sunset and the magic of having your loved ones around you.
Sure, Prince Charming and Peter Pan might not be realistic expectations for adventure, but that fact is that adventure is out there. Even in the most mundane of places.
The sass in these movies is unreal sometimes.
10. You Learned How to Get Back Up
Life can hit. Hard. But no matter what our characters went through, they got knocked down and they got back up.
In the end, you are proud to be different. Mulan was a woman who saved China.
Elsa had powers no one could comprehend. Tarzan was raised by the wild. Belle tamed a Beast. No
matter what circumstances they had came from, our heroes rose above it all and
still saved the day. At
the end of the day, whether you are a Princess at heart, or a Hero, or even a
Lost Boy in the great big world; we are all heroes in the end.
