With Adele's new song coming out, I took a look at her career and noticed how accomplished and successful she is with only two albums released. Because of her success, I came up with a list of 10 reasons why Adele is perfect.
1. Her song "Hello" that debuted at No. 1.
Absolutely eliminating any other competition, "Hello" was released at the end of October and sold over 1.1 million downloads within the first week of it being on iTunes. This trumped the record of most downloads of a song within the first week, previously held by Flo Rida's "Right Round" which sold 650,000 copies.
2. The music video for "Hello" has reached over 200 million views.
Although many artist's music videos have reached several millions views, Adele's music videos are known to reach over hundreds of millions of views within weeks of release.
3. She breaks every musical record.
Being the first female artist to have two albums to be simultaneously on the Official Album Charts, Adele knows how to make a timeless record.
4. She promotes self-confidence as she is slammed for her body.
When asked about reporters commenting on her weight, Adele reminds everyone that she has always been comfortable with her body and that she does not care what other people think. She relays the message to women everywhere that they should be comfortable with who they are and proud of their bodies.
5. Her song lyrics bring people to tears.
Adele's music has a way of making people think, reflect, and open up about experiences or people in their past. Through all of her songs, you find yourself missing some people who were once in your life, even your old neighbor's cousin who you said "hi" to one time.
6. She wins a lot of awards.
Because her music is flawless and speaks to everyone, Adele won so many awards at the 2012 Grammys that she was barely able to hold all of them. I wish I had that problem.
7. She rocks the winged eyeliner.
It's her signature look. Adele looks perfect, and she can effortlessly apply her eyeliner better than anyone I've ever seen.
8. She knows how to have fun.
As shown in her interviews, Adele seems like a carefree person who doesn't care what people think of her, and really just wants to have a good time.
9. She is beautiful.
Look at her face.
10. She recovers from surgery and comes back better than ever.
Having a surgery in 2011, Adele made her comeback performance at the 2012 Grammy awards, where she also won an award in every category she was nominated in.
As you can see, all of these accomplishments prove how perfect Adele really is.
