1. Compassion
As a friend group, we've all gone through our own struggles. If it weren't for each other, the recovery from these struggles would've been far more arduous.
2. Passion
Everything we do, positive or negative, will be done passionately.
3. Motivation
How many teenaged friends talk about their motivation to attend Harvard Law/Business school as future roommates? Not too many.
4. Confidence
If you know anything about my friends you know we aren't lacking in the confidence department. Some may even call it cockiness. I call it winning.
5. Spontaneity
We rarely ever start the night with plans. But by the end of the night, I guarantee you we're making memories. A good friend of mine once told me a 4-word phrase that usually precedes a spontaneous night: live in the moment. CAUTION: adhering to this phrase may lead to holes in walls.
6. Class
The pictures say it all.
7. Commitment
I have had the privilege of having the same friends for 7 years now. Can't believe they've been able to stick with me all these years. Committed would be an understatement.
8. Stubbornness
Most people view stubbornness as a negative. I find it to be a great positive. Unless we're talking politics.
9. Having the abilityto adjust
Every one of us is different now than we were 7 days/weeks/months/years ago. We've adjusted, as necessary, for the better. And I'm proud of each and every one of them.
10. And yes, loving.
We may not look the part, but I swear you won't find a more lovable and caring group of people.
Thank you to all my friends for the 7 years-worth of memories and adventures, and a thank you in advance for the many more to come. Can't wait to see what's still in store for us, and who knows, maybe I'll be giving the toast at one of your weddings someday.
