I tried to list 10 good things about always having a boyfriend but that was an epic fail. So, instead I got to thinking, what is something that is way better than having a boyfriend, and all I could come up with was nachos! So I am going to give you a list of 10 plates of nachos that are way better than a boyfriend.
1. Buffalo Chicken Nachos
These nachos are to die for and they will always be there when a boyfriend can't. These nachos are super easy to make and so delicious. All you need is hot wing sauce, shredded chicken, obviously chips, and cheese. Then you bake it and you can top it with whatever you want; jalapenos, onions, etc.

Okay for those of you who don't know, jerk is not the guy you thought about dating! It is a hot spicy seasoning used in a lot of Jamaican meals! For this recipe you need a pork tenderloin that has been rubbed with jerk seasoning and then grilled. You then grab your chips, top it with pineapple, the grilled pork and some shredded pepper jack. Put it in the oven to bake then top it with jalapenos, cilantro, and lime juice! This recipe is way better than the jerk you were going to date!
4. Thai Beef Nachos
You thought it was romantic when he said he was going to bring a tie for your date, but in reality he meant Thai Nachos, and those are way better! These don't seem to difficult to make and they look yummy! All this calls for is sliced roast beef, carrots, red onion, mint and cilantro, all tossed in lime juice that has a little bit of fish sauce and sugar mixed in. You can then either put it over all the nachos or put it in individual chips. Top it with mozzarella cheese and bake it!
5. Pizza Nachos! (Insert Heart Eye Emoji here!!!)
Okay, let's be honest with ourselves.... when is a boyfriend ever better than pizza!!! Just imagine pizza nachos! Instead of using chips in this one, it call for baguette bread that had been cut into slices and baked. The "chips" are then topped with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and parmesan cheese! Come on...wouldn't you cancel a date to eat these?!
6. Strawberry Shortcake Nachos
You thought he was sweet but these Strawberry Shortcake Nachos are much sweeter! For this one, you cut tortillas into triangles and then you fry them. After that you top them with whipped cream and cut strawberries and you just gained 30 pounds! Strawberries are great for romantic dates... but they are much better on nachos.
7. Cheesesteak Nachos
These sound like the type of nacho you would eat after a bad date. They are easy to make and very comforting! For this recipe, all you need is chips that are topped with sliced roast beef, some caramelized onions, and jarred cheese sauce. It is then baked and you can add hot sauce and jalapenos to the top to spice it and your life up a little!
8. BBQ Chicken Nachos
Who needs a boyfriend when you can make these easy nachos and stay in and watch Disney movies! These nachos don't require much. All you need is BBQ sauce, shredded chicken, shredded cheese and chips! You pile all that together pop it in the oven to melt the cheese a little bit and "BAM" you have really gooey nachos that are way better than a relationship!
9. Three-Cheese Nachos
If I could marry cheese I definitely would, because who doesn't just love cheese! For this recipe pile shredded chedder, pepper jack, and mozzarella onto any tortilla chip you would like! Once you have done that you can bake them to melt the cheese and top it with salsa con queso! I would up and leave any relationship for these babies!
10. S'more Nachos
Just when you thought nachos couldn't get any better, they did! These nachos aren't your typical nachos. Instead of cheese and chip, you use graham crackers, marshmallows or marshmallow fluff, and chocolate syrup. You bake this and then dig in! It's just like sitting at a bonfire but much easier and not as messy!
Nachos are a huge part of today's world and so are relationships, but when you just can't find the right guy or girl, remember that nachos will always be there. When you need a shoulder to cry on or something to vent to, just whip up one of these recipes and get to crying and venting! These nachos can't talk back to they make the perfect companion!
