Indiana. Home, sweet home of nothing to do. Being the traveller I am, my feet get antsy but I live on a college budget and reside in Indiana. Do you know how hard that is? I always have a need to see something new but it is not always easy to catch a flight and have enough money to explore a new city. So, I made a list of 10 places that everyone can enjoy on a budget, without jumping on a plane, and are located in the sweet state of Indiana.

4. Indiana Dunes
Indiana Dunes has the best beaches in Indiana. Yeah, you heard me right. BEACHES. well, lake beaches, but still beaches. There are loads of things to do during the day, like biking, hiking, sunbathing, or swimming. At night, you can choose to roam the area and enjoy what the nightlife has to offer!
5. Marengo Cave
Marengo Cave offers a variety of activities. You can go cave crawling, night walking, canoeing, gemstone mining, and more! It is deemed as a National Landmark and it one out of four caves in Indiana!
6. Kesling wetland and Farmstead
This place is perfect for all of you nature lovers! It is a 10-acre marsh and slough wetland community. The sunrise and sunset here are to die for.
7. Clifty Falls State Park
Not only is it a beautiful park of beautiful waterfalls but Clifty Falls State Park is home to some of the most popular events in Indiana! Some of the events are the July Regatta hydroplane boat race and the Madison Chautauqua Festival of Art.

9. East Pierhead Lighthouse
There may not be many tourist attractions around this area, this is the perfect place to run away to for a day and forget your worries. Bring a good book, 5 bucks for a coffee, or even a journal and watch the sunset. Bring a date and spend the night talking to this beautiful view.
