If you're a travel fanatic then you will know that these 10 places are an absolute must on the bucket list. From places right in our backyard to across the world, here are 10 of the most exciting places to go.

1. Niagara Falls

Located between the border of the US and Canada, this natural beauty is in our backyard. So plan a trip upstate and go visit Niagara Falls!

2. The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall was built over 2,000 years ago and stretches 13,170 miles across China. According to chinahighlights.com, the Great Wall hosts up to 70,000 visitors each day!

3. The Neuschwanstein Castle

This nineteenth century castle is located in southwest Germany. It was originally built for King Ludwig II who died during construction of the castle. The castle is now a popular tourist spot in Germany!

4. The Eiffel Tower

Located in Paris, France, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the world. Not only is this tower absolutely breathtaking, but it has two gourmet restaurants located inside!

5. The Grand Canyon

Another natural beauty right in our backyard! The Grand Canyon National Park is the 15th oldest park in the United States. To no surprise, the Grand Canyon is also considered to be one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

6. The Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal is located in Agra, India. Built in the late 1600's the Taj Mahal was constructed to occupy then emperor, Shah Jahan wife's tomb. The Taj Mahal is now considered to be one of the new seven wonders of the world.

7. The Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the worlds most beautiful coral reefs and is located in Queensland, Australia. So, get your scuba certification, buy some fins and take a trip! It's a must!

8. Buckingham Palace

Located in London, the Buckingham Palace is home to royal residents of the United Kingdom. The palace opened in 1703 and is now a popular "must see" among tourists visiting London.

9. The Statue of Liberty

Take a trip to the wonderful NYC and kill two birds with one stone. If in the city, visiting the Statue of Liberty is a must!

10. Sensoji Temple

The Sensoji Temple is the oldest and one of the most cherished Buddhist temples in Tokyo, Japan. The temple is surrounded with many traditional Japanese restaurants and shops to cater to the many tourists that come to visit the temple each year.
